MountainOffice is pleased to announce an upgrade to its mobile app. This upgrade provides new features that make the mobile app a much more effective tool for technicians out on the hill.
The new features include a more user friendly loading of schedules/work orders when going outside of wifi connectivity, easily allowing the technician to load a tablet/smartphone with the schedules/work orders and record all the pertinent information at the job site, time worked, material used, record photos or notes and indicated work completed.
Also included in the update is a new feature, which enables users to generate reports of work needing to be done. Now when a technician is on the hill or in a building and sees something which is in need of attention, a notification can be sent to any user on the system identifying the specific piece of equipment or structure needing attention and what the appropriate steps might be. If the technician went ahead and made the repairs while on scene, the time worked and material can be recorded and when the notification is reviewed by the receiving user a schedule/work order can be generated by a click and either be put in process or archived.
