Medic 52, an Australian company, last year started a meaningful exercise to survey ski patrollers around the world to get their input on how to make the profession and work done better and more effective. Steep Management encourages all ski patrollers to participate, if you haven’t, you are encouraged to do so by clicking the link below.
“The World Ski Patroller Survey was started in 2015 to learn more about you, the ski patrollers that are at the front line of a ski resort, helping people in the hour of need in all conditions. We want to know what issues you have, what gear you use, what you need, what you don’t have, and why you do it.
We were finding it difficult to learn more about ski patroller’s around the world, there really isn’t much data about this special breed of human being in the public domain. So, in consultation with national and international ski patrol bodies, Medic52 conducted the survey hoping to understand more about the variety of patroller’s working lives, their conditions and what they love or hate about the job.
Why? Because we want to get a sense of what is happening in your world, what would make your life easier and more effective on patrol?
We hope you can help by adding to the data in this survey, help us spread the word to gather even more insight, and hopefully we can make a difference to your patrolling world.”
