Steep Management is launching a new pricing structure for MountainOffice in North America. Steep and its partner, SEC Ges m.b.H. of Bad Hofgastein, Austria recognized the market differences between North America and Europe and have reformatted the pricing of the powerful revolutionary easy organization and documentation program, MountainOffice.
The format is now an annual subscription with the price being determined by the number of lifts, groomers, and size of snowmaking system as well as the number of users. The annual subscription includes training as well as support and maintenance. The format reduces the upfront cost to ski areas and also takes into account the size of the ski area. A discount is offered for a three (3) year subscription if paid at the onset of use in year one.
Of much more exciting news is that SEC is about to launch a new platform for MountainOffice that will without any doubt make it the ultimate tool for managing mountain operations at a ski area. The development of this new platform has been in the works for a couple of years and has considered many features that have been asked for by the North American market.
Some of the new features include:
- Fully mobile based with complete access from any Android device (iOS will come)
- Full Intranet for resort – providing real-time communication to all users
- Contract management by asset, piece of equipment, including real estate
- Ease of creating schedules
- Easy access and search for specific components of a piece of equipment
